Yea it’s true Vancouver area. I moved over from Calgary Alberta and I honestly never noticed how rusty cars are in Alberta that are older compared to bc.
First mod you could say that I did was the gsr strut bar
I also touched the interior more so the audio
installed some new speakers jl audio in the front and alpine in the back. Also installed sound dreading noico solutions both the silver 80mill and also 150mill and it was such a difference
I live in Calgary, trust me I know lol. That's exactly the reason why I went to Vancouver to buy my Jetta. I was lucky enough to find a rust-free TSX in Chestermere because I definitely didn't want to do that drive again
So my front shock is leaking oil so I ended getting some koni yellows and plan to get the rear soon. Working on either H&r sport springs or ground control but since being in Canada price to ship ground control is insane. But in the mean time I did find this rear strut brace for cheap
it’s black works rear strut bar
I just ended up cleaning it up and painting it. The rear feel good. Pretty happy for what I spent
Just a quick update...
i installed some new tail lights. Got them from 4door civic
Old New From the side the front matches the side
you May be wondering why I did this. To mimic the Isuzu Gemini . I’m still trying to find the front grill but it’s hard to find. Everyone wants to sell me the whole nose cut.
