99% of kits out there are made of fiberglass, and the other 1% that are urethane dont sell because of tight wads that want everything for nothing.. my²pennies

What you talking about? There's tons of kits out there that are made out of urethane.....fiberglass is the majority, but urethane is right along there with them.
Figure it this way......since fiberglass adhears the paint better but cracks easy; and urethane doesn't hold paint really all that well but is VERY durable...what would you rather have....a bumper that's cracked but still has the paint on it, or a bumper that has paint chipped off of it and is still in it's original shape? Do the math.....
Plus, in the Bay Area fiberglass kits just don't go....
umm i can tell you that the selection with fiberglass oposed to urethane is night and day.. urethane is a MUCH MUCH better product however, it costs alot more to make the original mold, and the kit is most times more expensive.. therefore many choose fiberglass, the only exception is lip kits.. because they are only have the kit anyways...
with paying alittle more for a urethane kit, you save money at the body shop because the fit is next to perfect.. unfortunatly there is no proven way to mold urethane out there yet.. so urethane kits, look just like that.. a bolt on kit..
its not an easy choice, however i have full fiberglass on my car and dont have problems.. its all in how you maintain it

^^ this was 2 years ago, and she's a chick, if the screen name wasn't blatantly obvious.
I never saw her in super street, but I sure do see her old car all over ebay for people that advertise the R33 kit.
