Dell's Civic Si '00
Dell's Civic Si '00
Just bought as of 12/30/12, and am going to make this thread to post my upgrades, tuning, and pictures of my civic as I make changes to it. It is currently in the shop getting a new paint job on the hood, roof, and trunk panels of the car, so I will probably take some nice pictures of it as soon as I go to pick it up
.
Here's a few pictures I got to snap before I purchased it. It has the original si engine with around 120k unknown miles. Cold air intake (unsure of brand), and some type of exhaust. I didn't get much information but I figured for what I payed for if anything was wrong with anything under the hood I can just replace it with a performance part. Will take picture of inside the hood asap. Let me know what ya think

off to a good start. looks like a HKS hi-power exhaust. thsoe are really nice and rare.
i would suggest you work on your suspension more than anything. with a little bit of suspension work, the car is like flipping magical.

Yeah I'll probably get some coilovers in the near future but besides that don't know much about suspension and handling.

Lookin right man, love the stock look of these cars, and that exhaust looks nice too, it does look like an hks ^^, but yes, after seeing my civic so much lately anything stock height looks like it could be offroaded, +1 on getting some coils.
Re: Dell's Civic Si '00
Finally got my car back from the paint shop and it looks almost brand new! I also have had more time to actually look at the car. It seems to have an aem cold air intake, dc headers, HID kit (either 4k or 6k not sure), Greddy exhaust (still not sure on exact type but still sounds amazing), feels like it has a stage 2 clutch but not 100% positive, and some type of computer management system that I havn't really had time to ask anyone what it is, but I'll upload a picture of it when I get the chance. Let me know what you guys think, and appreciate the feedback.

Re: Dell's Civic Si '00
The dealership wanted 5800 for the way the car was and I told him I wasn't interested because of the horrible paint fades but he told me he would do it for 6200 with a new paint job on the hood, top, and trunk of the car and the paint shop that he brought it to did the front bumper for free. I didn't personally bring it to a paint shop otherwise I would have gotten the whole car painted.
