Re: Brobo's Em2 Build!
Assuming you didn't mean literally with "******" and "357 magnum", I really sympathize with your hurt. A couple of months after I got my previous new car, and it was brand new and only just got its license plates, someone at work scraped my rear fender in my parking lot at work. And they didn't leave a note!
Last year, at a parking lot at the public library, as I was backing out of my spot, a guy on the other side backed into me. Naturally, he was driving a really old Chevy Suburban which didn't have any damage while my 3/4 rear panel is dented much like your front one. He and his insurance had the nerve to try and say it was my fault.
Fortunately, my insurance took care of everything and said I was 100% not at fault. Thread Starter

Re: Brobo's Em2 Build!
Just found this thread and I have no idea how I missed it. I spent the last half hour reading it and damn kid I wish I had half your talent and resources. This thread reminds me of a geo metro I ripped completely apart and hung from a tree for a "sculpture", ah the good old days when I was young..... I just lack that kind of confidence to do that major of work to my own daily driver. I'm thinking of buying a new car so I can use my 01 as a project car and do what I've always wanted to it..... Anyways I digress, Keep up the awesome work, can't wait to see more.
I have the OEM version of weight reduction. DX

Re: Brobo's Em2 Build!
Your bumper on the driver side looks like it's just not clipped in all the way. It should snap in nicely. Sometimes it takes a little more force to put in in. Instead of putting bondo on your fender, why not just get a new fender from a junkyard and slap that on?
Props on the work done. Is your old man a mechanic? Or did you teach yourself everything?

Re: Brobo's Em2 Build!
dont plan on any more mods because the d17 is tooooo slow
so im saving for a second weekend warrior from my buddy
95 TALON TSI AWD thats where its at 4G63T
Re: Brobo's Em2 Build!
really? after all that work you won't turbo the em2? the talon is turbo'ed to 200hp. that's not hard for an em2 to reach, with a turbo setup. how much are you buying the talon for?

Might wanna come up with a new nickname.
