since everyone making a build, so will i. because i want to be cool like you guys.
so origionally, i retrofitted FX-R projectors in my 600rr. they were ridiculously gigantic and i barely rood left in the little housing of my 600rr.
it so happens that im really not digging the morimoto minis on my rice bucket, so i swapped them.
the 600rr will have the minis (which will be lighter and fit better than the FX)
and the rice bucket will have the FX-R projector...so i can amp it up with some DL50 watt bulbs =]
anywho, i know u guys dont like reading and half of u cant, so here are pixs
here are some pixs before any retro. my 600rr on the left, and my r1 on the right.
here are the projectors in their housing. the FXr on the top, the mini's on the bottom (how it was)
pre test fit. just to get an idea
on the bike for alignment and adjustment.
of corse, the hardest part of a retrofit is the alignment of the projector's cutoff line. so here we go. cut off shots
more to come later.... its to hot in my garage to be working

bwhahaa. that R1 has gotten me into wayyyy too much trouble.
matter of fact, our wonderful state troopers pull me over quite often to ask for a donation to our broke as state.
he even wrote me a love note on his yellow piece of paper he's holding (this was about a month ago)
anyways, i finished the retro. more pixs of it on the bike later. but here's a teaser

(Quote= and de-rice it!
stock front/rear bumper, fenders, hood, trunk comming back on in a few weeks. (/quote)
That's going to be one sick part out!
I'd keep your current front bumper and go stock everything else, its barely rice at all and looks sick.
If I weren't planning on an 04-05 EL front conversion then I would already have bought one for my car..

I don't know how it is in the states, but here in Canada (or at least in the province of Ontario, don't know about the rest) It's illegal for the police to chase a motorcycle, though I think motorcycle cops can. It's considered too dangerous for the biker, so they have to call in a copter to follow you.
So if a cop tries to pull you over (not saying you should do it) you can gun it and be gone and there's nothing they can do about it. By the time a chopper is there, you're long gone. Most of the time they don't call in for choppers :P
Funny story. There's actually a guy (friend of a friend of mine, had a CBR 1000 i think) who would go out looking for cops, play around in front of them, then press a button which flipped his license plate revealing a middle finger and then would book it out of there. I think he ended up selling his bike because he felt like he was getting too cocky with it and didn't want anything bad to happen.

they have a saying here, you can run from cops, but not motorola.
for me, its not worth risking and running...especially if u are planning a future in law enforcement yourself. haha.

I'd rather not be dealt a Felony warrant on my ***.
Fleeing/Evading police is a felony, if they catch your plates, they can track you to your home.
& come in uninvited, slam you to the ground, and give you some shiny bracelets to wear

I'm not saying to do it, that's just how the law is here.
I think the thing about plates is that they can't prove who was driving the vehicle so they have no real proof to harass you aside from you being the owner.
My cousin is a cop (also a motorcycle rider. He has an R1 or R6, can't remember.) He tells me all this stuff lol.

But if you buy a bike don't insure it / license it and drive that around you're set
