Picked up this 2011 Honda Civic EX with navigation January this year. The plan (even though it’s taking longer then thought to start) is to build “the ultimate grocery getter.” I’m planning on using as many HFP parts as possible so I don’t void the warranty. Of course I’m going to have to go aftermarket when it comes to most of the engine work. So let’s get this started. Here is a picture of the car in its current stock state. First modifications are going to be the tail lights, rear appliqué, trunk hangers, and a trunk liner. I will show how to along with pictures of all parts installed.

I've ordered the maxzone black style. Should have them installed by next week with a couple of other goodies. Nothing to crazy.

Well I finally got the first batch of parts installed. For those who don’t know, installing tail lights to the 8th Gen Civic can be frustrating because you have to remove the rear bumper and chrome back piece to get these damn things on. But in the end it came out looking great. Also check out the difference when I installed the tray along with the cargo hooks. I didn’t install the brake pads yet because I couldn’t see myself wasting the old ones. So I’m going to wait until the old ones fade away and pick up new rotors as well. Up next I’m thinking of picking up stuff for the interior. Looking to get all the small stuff first before I go big with a new kit and rims.

I really didn't like the 8th gen sedans for their tails and just the look of the back. But those tails i must say look really good! Got any other plans? (sound system maybe?)

not a fan of those aftermarket ones. i think the oem tail looks best...
anywhoo, those aftermarket tails are still hella better looking the the 2012 4dr civics....gosh they're ugly as hell.

Also thanks for all the nice comments on the tail lights. At first I was a little hesitant on them, but I think they are an better look then the stock ones.

It does if it's Cannabis.
But I do like the tails as well, good thing there not altezzas. If you want you can lamin X the stock ones to a smoke color and see how you like it well. Nice car I love to see new cars get modded not just being driving by old people.
On a side note if I ever get one of this cars I will shave of the side mirror and put on the coupe ones since there in the correct spot. Don't know what honda was thinking.

Sorry guys, haven't done anything to the Civic as of late. Been throwing my time into my Impreza GC8. But will get back on the Civic later this month or next month.

Been away for a while, but getting back to working on the Civic. Just picked up a KN Filter and installed it last weekend. Here are a couple of pictures of the install. Up next going to install Raybestos brake pads all the way around and add so extra lighting. Most likely fog lights. But for now here are pictures of the FN Filter install.
