i own a 97 civic lx and i think it has a crack in the exhaust manifold. I live in california. what is the cheapest possible working exhaust manifold that will fit this car without mods? i am looking for cheap. the ones on ebay say "w/o california emissions" i probably dont need a cat but havent done this before.

Your cat is molded into your exhaust manifold unfortunately, get one from a junkyard dx or lx. Thats the best way, you can get the crack filled too though, most places will v out the crack add material and smooth it out for $100 - $200, a junkyard one might be cheaper.
