Re: what lip is this? + opinions

yes. that the stock oem lip kit ofr the 04-05. pretty sweet man.
if u want this rear lip, you have to get the 04-05 rear bump because the 01-03 rear bumpers are different.

It took me and my dad all morning to get it fit properly, but now it's positioned properly and sanded, so I just gotta wait for the wind to calm down before I can primer it, paint it, and possibly clear coat it.

Well last night it started to rain so we went up to my dad's work and painted it in the shop. I ran outta paint so I grabbed the last can from Canadian Tire and just finished putting on another coat a few minutes ago.

Only thing I'm pissed off with is that the paint can leaves big globs of spatter that can't be avoided. It's not terribly noticeable, but it's frustrating since I'm a perfectionist. I'm going to put one more coat of paint on, then put a clear coat over it. I definitely recommend the clear coat b/c the paint itself (once dried) is rough, grainy, and not very glossy. Once the clear coat is on though, it should really shine.

I'll post some pictures of it on my car once it's complete.

No I just bought some flat black primer, then 2 cans of nighthawk black pearl (my exact car color), and a can of clear coat (all by dupli-color) and painted it with a spray can. I don't have a spray gun, which is why I'm getting globs and stuff. I wish I had a spray gun b/c I have some experience with it, but I just got the spray cans instead.

I just put the last coat of clear on it and I'm waiting for it to dry before I put the lip it. It's not perfect, and you can't see your reflection in it like you can on a vehicle, but it looks pretty good considering it was done by an amateur.

Where do you live? I just ran to Canadian Tire and bought paint by Dupli-Color. It matches most factory OEM paints.
