So after much deliberation and research and headaches and indecisiveness wiht my boy, I finally gave in and decided to assist with his transformation. To keep it in a stepwise process, I decided to get before pics and plan on doing transformation pics.
So here are the before pics: The wheels are "I don't know" but a deal gone sour when my son decided to trade his stellies and ended up with a bent rim and scuffed lips on the others. That's what started all this.

After much deliberation and headache, I finally gave in and let him order a lip kit. He decided on the BMX front and rear. They came today. Everything in excellent shape with shipping across the country. Happy with http://www.ilovebodykits.com

Many thanx to RiceBoy for his renditions - here are the three color choices I'm debating over.
Silver, Blue, Black
Keep in mind that the side graphic and sun roof shield are gone and the head and tails are blackened, and windows new tint

Yea, the body kit is junk That's just my opinion though. I can find so many better uses for all that money. But again that's me! good luck on the build! Keep in mind, if it looks good to you,t hat's all thats important... ignore the negative

Even though some have objected, we decided to put the kit on. The transformation has officialy begun.
Here are the pics so far
We have decided to take the advice of "If we like it, that is what matters" So with the kit installed, we are going to finish the prep and paint and decide whether to lower or not.
Next step will be a B16
Will post when more pics are available.

LoL... In most places it's illegal to put an engine in a car that is older than a car itself. That being said, swap a K20 if your going through all the trouble of an engine swap... Not a b16.
I forgot to add... B16 is OBD0 or OBD1 and your car is OBD2 so a b16 is a bad idea

theres no aftermarket support for a b16 swap. so everything is custom and really expensive at that. totally not worth it for a 1.6L

Should be on your to do list.
- Paint kit
- lower car
- get rid of that awful decal on the sides
In no particular order, they are all equally important.

The decal looks like your car was sideswiped, definately dont b16 swap. Like everyone said its pointless to swap to another slow motor. K series is much more worth it, but its also very expensive. Search some "JDM" cars, see if you like that look better then the look your going for.
