Jonathan's return
My car was rear ended on the 405 S (I live in Socal) in heavy traffic. Basically, I had to slam on my brakes since the traffic in front of me had abruptly slammed on their brakes. I still remember the view of the rear view mirror and seeing the Lexus come straight behind me... then BAM! I was rear ended by a 2002 Lexus IS300 on the driver side rear bumper which made my car spin out counter-clockwise. Then, from there, while my car was spinning counter-clockwise, the Lexus IS300 hit me once again, which did the most damage; the driver messed up my rear bumper, rear quarter panel and some scratches/ scuffs on the driver side door. I remember seeing a cloud of smoke, and tires screeching and then the big loud impact on multiple cars (not just mine).
At the end of it all, my head, neck, shoulder, upperback and lower back was in pain and lost my mind for a moment. I was in the state of confusion for less than about 20 seconds. My upper back took the most damage at the impact.
Aside from my injuries, before the accident, I mentioned that I was facing the south direction, but after the accident, I was facing the northeast direction on lanes #1 and #2 (I was originally on lane #2) and had two cars on me. I had the Lexus stuck onto my rear quarter panel, and had a black car on my rear, right next to the Lexus.
When I got out of the car, I noticed that there were 6 cars, including myself, in the accident. I had a 4-car pileup behind me and somehow, another guy ended up in the front of this all. I didn't take much pics, but here is what I got at the accident scene, since CHP had us move our cars immediately by the carpool's left shoulder.

I am glad to say I'm lucky that I'm still alive. This could have been deadly.
Here's a better picture:

The accident happened on October 28, 2009, and I got my car back about 2 days ago now, and I am amazed of the work that the bodyshop did for me.

I don't have closeup pictures.
Total Damage: $5,130
