need some help someone please.
so my 1998 honda civic ex decided that the battery light was going to come on today. so, after that. when i came to a stop light, the car would idle weird and it would idle up and down when i was in neutral. than the lights for the dash started to dim and the cd player stopped working. and than finally the gauges even stopped working. i was at home and i let the car run and the car died. i heard it could be the alternator or the batter. any ideas???

alternator charges batter and whole system runs on those two things, and over time, the battery will die if not charged by the altenator. eventually there is so little charge it wont keep the ecu running, which will make the car sputter out and die since u have an electric fuel pump
