Type r or mugen

Type r or mugen
HY WUT UP .
I WANT TO GET A LIP BUT CAN'T DEECIDE BETEWWEN THESE TWO . lEANING ALITTLE TOWARDS THE MUGEN CUZ THE TYPE R KINDA LOOKS LIKE MY BUMPER ALREADY BUT THE MUGEN IS JUST SITS SOOO LOW!! LOL

I was just thinking about the same thing today. I have a type r and love it, but perhaps the mugen would look better. I have really thought about switching and maybe it would be better since it would give the front a lower look than with the type r. I know a lot of 04-05 have the type r so maybe go with the mugen to be a little unique.

Well from looking at your avatar, i would have to say that you will probably only end up having about 2 inches of clearance from my best guess if you were to get the mugen and it also depends on where you get it because they are different heights depending on who you get it from. Also for the type r it basically looks like your front bumper but drops it down about and inch or so.On the note of the 99-00 lip, i would try and get an 04-05 because you have to heat the 99-00 lip to get it to fit and they can sometimes look funny and warped. heres my lip just for you to see.

if you're ever up in the norcal region (Monterey Bay Area to be more precise) I have a 'Spoon Style' lip that i'm trying to get rid of. it basically seems to be a cross between the Type R and Mugen....
It has the dips in the corners like the Type R, but also has the holes like the Mugen. The holes are also more rounded off than the mugen one, which has sharper edges to where the holes are....
I got it being told it was for an 01-03, but when i got it, it had a sticker on the back saying it was for 04+, but upon contacting the company, they said they never made one for 04+... Test fitting it, it fits perfectly on 99-00, and works on 04-05s as well...ALSO, it doesn't seem to have that weird 'flare' out on the sides like elemental's does.... I can get some pics of it on an 04-05 if you let me know!

haha dude i was in the same situation u was 2 months ago. i have the same thread like urs. and everyone voted type r for me so i end up with a type r but im thinking about getting a mugen as well to see how it looks. i have a 01-03. type r looks very clean and slick. mugen gives u that fierce and agressive feel.
