Rep Power: 226 Life after a Kswap Civic
After a ton of great moments and some not so great moments I decided that 5 years in the civic world, 2 1/2 with a Kswap civic it was time for something different. The Kswap civic was an absolute awsome car perfect for everything, except long weekend trips with my wife and I. So I decided to sell the civic and go a differnt direction, a long awaited direction. The civic left with its new owner this weekend and in a couple of weeks I will be picking up this car:
A 2006 S2000! I am pretty excited and I think it will be better for my wife and I on the long weekends

^^^I have a wife so I don't need any of that. It will stay stock, which is why the S2k will be an "easier car to live with" than the EM2 because it will perform as well as my K20 civic (maybe a tad slower), but is completely stock. Which means no aggressive suspension and loud exhaust, plus this car can be a ton of fun without ever stepping on the gas pedal since it is a convertable. BTW it will NOT be my daily, just a fun weekend car.

great choice, although better for you and the wife on the week ends would have been a 72 oldsmobile ( its got a bed for a back seat) deff more fun with the top down

^^^I conquer with the need for a back seat, and that center console might make things tricky as well, other than that awesome car should be a lot of fun. Congrats!

AP2 for the win!!!!!!! congratulations. i drive my friend's AP1 all the time. wish you could've found the red interior though... even tho they never seem to last as long, they look amazing on the red. but your black will match the top much better. now you definitely have to get about 5k together and get the CF top. it looks so badass.
again just congratulations man, i love driving those things. i've thought about selling my civic and getting one but i dont want to deal with it in the snow.

nice s2k! good luck with it; i am sure that will have as much - if not more - fun with this car than you did with the civic. keep us posted with pics when you get it.

Don't think it would be an *** whooping, but yeah the Kswap civic may be a bit faster than an AP2 from a roll, from a dig I think it would be pretty close. My civic made 201whp with a good bit of NA mods on the K, my budys AP2 made 207whp on the same dyno. My civic weighed 2600lbs full interior, his AP2 weighted 2855lbs, so do the math. The RWD launch advantage will help from the dig.
