Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
Welps, I spent 6 hours hand washing, waxing my car + wheels and washing the engine bay and under the hood, vacuming, armor all-ing, windexing, remounting my front lip etc etc.... took some night pics. Enjoy.

Tein SS. 205/40/17.
The wax was Meguiars too.
Half of what makes a car look good in a shoot is how well you can operate a camera. I didn't by any means spend as much time detailing my car as some hardcore detailing fanatics do.

Re: Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
thanks guys.
haha gear, you still remember my uber ricey pictures from back in the day.
They're just stock bulbs now. I was actually going to ask you about the brightest whitest bulbs out there for the parking light and the most orange bulb out there for the turn signal. I WAS going to go HID but I'm going back and forth about it. I don't think our stock beam pattern is all that bad. I have the TL projectors but I don't think they'll light up highway signs as much as I'd like because there is less scatter.

Edit: additional suckier pics added.

Re: Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
nice. what i just switched to now are those amber cycolite bulbs from ebay seller autopartshouse. they are a deep dark orange and very nice. but idk what to put for the round small park light. i have it unplugged for now. i have hid, and any type of white bulb doesnt really match it in that spot. i tried amber 194, but its nowhere near as dark as the 7443. my hid lights up road sign really well, but by accident. when i made it, i used e46 projectors and all chrome headlamp housings. well a nice thing happened, light reflected off the trim piece at roughly 45 degree angle and makes some nice road sign glare, yet for traffic theres no glare at all (unless you drive a big rig lol). so you may want to try it in all chrome housing and see if you can get some glare out of em. TL is really nice, but i couldnt get it to fit in the housing and look right. im sure you can, its just a matter of finding the right bezel and shroud combo to go around it.

Re: Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
oops i never answered your question. for birghtest clear park light, its the raybrig 2x hyper clear from racinglab.com and it basically looks like a 10w bulb even tho its only 5w. if you cant afford those, the next best is a regular w5w bulb available at walmart from GE for $2 a pair.
for best rice blue coated bulb, stick with raybrig platinum white or philips bluevision. they are both the same color, and they use the bright w5w bulbs with a blue coating. thats if you dont mind the blue reflection during the day. i have some in my plate lights. they are very white without being ricey and blue tinted.

Re: Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
i can take some hold on. they are pure orange not amber (yellow/orange). which makes it hard to match to a mini bulb. but it looks very nice. the amber led bulb i had looks yellow in comparison so i took it out.
here is park light mode. the main reason why i like these bulb is its real amber glass, not coating, so they will never fade. and i actually like the orange reflection for some reason too. makes the car look less ricey i guess lol

heres amber 4-led bulb for comparison

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I appreciate it.
Also, gear those are normal exposure shots?
and are these the bulbs of which you speak? There are also some silver coated ones like that the guy has for sale. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7443-...mZ170264416370

Re: Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
stay away from silver coated, they are not very bright and not the same color pair due to the coating process not being exact. those pics are all in auto mode, which takes a fast exposure. but yeah the ones in the link are good. thats what i have.

Re: Fresh detail. Night pics. Same car.
Nice thanks. I think that's what I'm going to end up getting. I miss the amber man. Haha.
I'm just wayyy too lazy to start this TL retrofit. I think I'm better off just selling em for cash and making a little profit. =)
BTW does your headlight housing light up when you turn on your projectors? What I mean is, can you see the housing light up from far away, especially from a side shot? I like the look of the whole headlight being backlit (like in actual acura TLs) if you know what I mean, instead of pinpoint lights like in those TYC projectors with black housings and what have you.
