"Oh Snaps" Photo session. My car plus more.
Today was a nice day so I took my scooter out and scooter-ded around town. Took a couple pics of my car and then some pics of some stuff around town. Enjoy!
Here's my car as it stands right now, still blocking, still saving money!
This is a picture of the front bumpers im trying to fix, the green line shows the shape of the RSX/ing's bumper, the yellow line shows the shape of the civic bumper I bought to fit it to the RSX one, it's not the same shape, so I'm probably in for some hard work.
After I took pics of my car, I headed out and took pics of random things and ricers etc.
Caltrans Yay!
WORST CURB RASH EVAR!
Including JDM chrome wheel well trim!
Then I went down the the old boardwalk.
Then I found a body shop around the corner! I might give them a call.
This one was pretty classic.
This guy was too cool to have side skirts
This Talon wasn't bad at all.
And here we have an eclipse with custom shaved rear emblems!
Are those Volk GT-V's ??
Nope just a set of Drag knock-offs.
A lincoln with chrome...
Look another 7th gen!!!!1

Ah, nope. Got my hopes up...
That's ok, it looks ok, needs some paint repair on the kit.
Ooo a gangsta Tahoe! Niiiiice.
Hm, that combination probably nets about 45 to 46 extra horsepower...

Ok so this person had a TEIN sticker on their window, but um, I actually got under their car and didn't see anything from Tein! WTF!
Then I just headed home! I had fun taking pictures. I always talk about how the people around here roll in weird beaters/ricers/whatever. Im surprised I found as much as I did in just a couple of hours.
There was some nice cars out there, driving by me, so I couldnt take a picture fast enough, I saw a really nice custom blue 300zx, and a cool looking purple muscle car of some sort, and then I also saw a clean looking 6th gen civic, so it's coo. Till next time!

um...i find it a bit odd that you're going around making fun of other ppls rides with their body kit and rims, but yet...your body kit doesn't look any better, especially your rear bumper, and your car is on steelies. Then again that's just my opinion.

you guys forget that his car is still "work in progress" and is not done...
mabee he does have rims but he would rather ride his steelies untill he complete's his RSX conversion...who knows...
we all have times and moments where our car looks gay/ugly/rice as hell....so bare with him =]

Despite that, he is doing the work himself. Most of those people just slap parts on their car. Although Eyger's car may look "ricey" to you, he put a lot of damn effort into it himself. I give credit for work and taking the time to learn and make mistakes, despite what I think of the person's car.

i wasn't trying to bash on his car, i was bashing on his efforts putting other people down which i don't respect at all.

that is all good. I can respect putting the work in yourself and working on your own car, but going around making fun of other ppl rides b/c he doesn't like them just seems a bit odd to me when his car looks like that. Who knows, the other ppl he was taking pictures of could have put a lot of effort in their cars too.

and i also dont think we should really be saying anything about eygers car either though, its like half done, how can you say how something is going to turn out if its only half way there, and i deff respect the guy for doing the work himself

There's a lifted F350 with those wheels on the Tahoe in my gf's apartment complex. It actually looks sweet with 35" tires.

HA ha, I think people take me/other people too seriously. I went out for the day and took pictures that's it nothing more. We're all allowed to have opinions about the world around us.
Thanks to those who support my under construction project.
Oh and ravensteel, I didn't have to touch or get under his car to tell he didn't have anything Tein, I said I got under it, but what I meant by that was kneel down and look up in under the fender.
I love how some people criticize me when there's a thread called "Take pics of local ricers" with like 3000 posts or something.
I'm not trying to make fun of people, or start a fight. Just thought I'd share my day.

30 bucks from Target. Exactly like this one: Red
I was thinking about getting an electric one, to save on gas money. It's like 100 bucks, you could get the scooter to pay for itself if you use it to go everywhere you would with you car, compared to 100 bucks in gas. It's all good. Where I live, things are pretty close, so I can get to most places on a regular scooter.

neat pictures. I remember when my car was sanded down like that, it was odd looking at it before it was painted. All the grayness... hehe.

I've calculated in my head that I've owned my car for a longer amount of time, unpainted, then painted. Sad isn't it!
