fosho. you can take a msp3? my homies k20 at 220wheel cannot take one. they are pretty powerful..

Re: My 2007 Mazdaspeed3... again.
Yes I can.....have done so twice by at least a car....I was on 9 psi because I was afraid of being beat at 7 I believe I am right at 200whp @ 9psi at this time....couple tuning tweaks....
Those things maybe put down 220-230 to the wheels....but I bet it weighs more than my civic
Who knows...maybe bad driver....same car twice........I just read an article about em....direct injection..that is bad ***.
The injector is where the spark plugs use to be....they spray right ontop of boost!

Looks good and from what I've read it has some GO to it. I too though am not a fan of the yellow headlights, but hey, its what you like and thats all that matters.

mmmm maybe his traction control was on. it makes a big difference. cuts down the boost by like 3-4 lbs so i have heard. but good kill regardless!

My Speed3 dynoed at 255whp and 307tq. Thats cool FoSho that you've beat one a couple of times. In my opinion the Speed3 should of beat you. Was it from a dig or roll? I have easily walked away from a Nissan 350Z Nismo, Infinity G35 and NEW Mustang GT. But up here at altitude, Turbos FTW and NA FTL...

Re: My 2007 Mazdaspeed3... again.
I raced the same one twice...once from dig & roll....both times by a car.
He was completely stock though. That thing also weighs almost 600-700 lbs more than my civic.....
40whp does not overcome that much weight
The more I look I am actually finding slower times of low 14's.....
I can walk away from a new mustang by at least 2-3 cars. The Mazda gave me a way better race
I also raced a Nismo 350z....I beat him all the way up to 110 & he slowly crept by me. He couldn't touch me low end.
I think anymore power than stock I'd be in trouble... I need some more power!

^^ yeah definitely. i drove my buddies msp3 and the top end on those cars are godly. i honestly dont think many cars in its category can hang with it 90 to maybe 130. i was riding with him and we took a modded gto [dunno what mods it was just loud] on the highway and we had 4 people in the car including the driver. crazzzzy. the turbos on the msp3 are babies too. they look so puny.
05 civic jdm. what mods do you have to your msp3? seems like a decent amount of mods. all my buddy has is the cork sport exhaust and the mazdaspeed cai.
edit: reading > me.. you got 255 wheel with just the mazdaspeed intake and a fog delete? thats crazy

I just got one is very nice and loaded with options.
The power is not too bad concidering right out of the dealer like that.
With minimum mods it can be a car to beat, and it also has an electronic LSD for better traction.

It is a very good plan to hit up young drivers....$23-24k base is awesome for that kinda power outta the factory....a fully loaded si is that much & would get embarassed by an Msp3.......It would be a really good choice for a brand new car. I did see a review where the SI did perform better handling wise on the track.
I just can't get away from Honda. I love em! I love the way they are put together, the way they run, the reliabilty (even turbo,) & working on em!
I can't imagine owning anything else...
I'm waiting for the 250hp+ turbo civic w/ lsd, & awd...hah ya right huh?
They started w/ the RDX....maybe that engine will make it's way into an Si or RSX type platform!

yeah. the msp3 is mosdef the best bang for the buck in its class. i dont know of any car in its class that can hang with it. but does the SI really handle better than the msp3?

On any boosted car the turbo spools half way on the apex of a turn you'll have some trouble handdling it.
I wish Hoinda had a turbo civic or anything
