hood problemo ..

alright guys today i replaced my driver headlamp so both side will look nice. kus the passenger side was replaced after an accident so one side look newer. but anyways i took off the bumper and replaced the headlamp it with no problem. but now for some reason after reinstalling everything. my hood closes but doesnt close all the way down. like its locked and all but it doesnt closes completely. Any suggestion or a solution to this guys? thankss..

check the weather seals, do you only have one per side? also check the rubber stoppers and adjust as needed. maybe you just noticed it now even tho it was like that from before.

try lubbing the hell out of the hood latch with a silicone grease or WD-40

there are rubber stoppers along the frame where the hood meets the grill. look around the front i think there are 4 per side and you can turn them to loosen (raise) or tighten (lower).

is your oil cap on and not sitting somewhere inside your engine bay hitting the hood
