Thanks for the agreement, and posting some real numbers. I agree a retro fit will always dominate over a kit, but for those of us not willing to spend 600-700 to do a retrofit, and put int the amount of work involved into doing it correctly a 150.00-200.00 kit can provide some really nice results, and are pretty much plug and play. Good work on the retrofit though, had a really nice cutoff and little glare, the 2 things the pic provided measurable results for.

u wont have a high beam if u get the that kit u mentioned.
you will only have lowbeam...
even if u get a bixenon kit, you will quickly damage ur ballast if u flicker/flash ur high beams because it causes the ballast to shut on and off when u flicker.
unless you rewire it so thatwhen you highbeam, ur lowbeam stays on when you highbeam

not worth it. the "hi beam" it comes with is just a small halogen bulb glued to the hid holder. lol. i keep telling everyone you dont need hi beams anyway with a good lo beam. mine still arent wired up for 6 months now and i havent missed them even once. and my lo beam is still halogen.

I have HID for my lo beam, but I still like to flick on my Hi beams just to see further ahead of the road sometimes.. the light isn't as bright as the HID but I still find the Hi beam Halogen useful. Keep in mind too I have an 04 w/ 4 HL bulbs for Hi/Lo...
