Re: Will CF hood fit?
There is an idea.
Mount the CF hood and then wrap the other in a blanket and strap it to the roof rack.
Or just get a friend with a truck.
I just don't think it will fit, but you can try.

Re: Will CF hood fit?
well you could use blankets and still strap it to the roof w/o a rack... but it also depends on how long / what roads you're travelling on lol... it wont be half as sturdy on there w/o a rack
Re: Will CF hood fit?

Re: Will CF hood fit?
I have it figured out

We are all not thinking of the freakin obvious....
Just take your hood off at home then drive to the place you are getting the new one and put it on.

DONE!!!!!!!

Re: Will CF hood fit?
Why? For driving without a hood? No, you shouldn't, if so just tell the cop what is up.
That is why he is going to take the hood off at home and keep it in the garage or something.

Re: Will CF hood fit?
it wont fit, cause the seat supports have a smaller gap then the hood itself, my CF hood just cleared my mom's minivan when i laid it down in the back.
Re: Will CF hood fit?
IT WILL NOT FIT. I had to pick up a rear bumper from someone and it was the worst most almost impossible thing in the whole world to fit in. i got it to fit but it was a tight fight. trying to fit a cf hood in ur coupe, you are either going to damage the hood, not get it in, or scratch up something in ur interior. i would borrow a truck from someone. or just walk and pick it up....lol...anything but scratch up ur interior lmao

Re: Will CF hood fit?
50km..... put a string around it and loop it over, so that way u can put it on your back... get your buddy to drive your car... and then you will have a good 50km walk to bond with your new hood
Or yea like someone else said, just take off your hood, and try to fit it in your car.. if it does, put it back on, and make your 30+ mile drive to get your CF hood.
edit: well since people sez it wont fit.. i guess u better buy some new walking shoes, that or try the accord

i got mine to fit in my coupe...
just take off both head rests and lay the passenger seat down and try to get it in. you'll have to play with it a little but it really does fit. it'll just be a bitch driving with it especially if your 5spd...

Re: Will CF hood fit?
just do this... i put my hood in my car... pop the seats down and run it through your trunk to back seats. fits perfectly.. I have a coupe also..
i dont know why you people are trying to make it hard on him? it does fit... i can promise you it will fit. just watch out for your corners. put a blanket or something on the bottom so you dont scratch it. but yah these people either dont have experience with that situation or they just plain dont know what they are talking about
