help with some info please

hey guys i have an 05 ex civic with i/h/e and im thinking of getting the crank pulley but some ppl have mentioned that its bad for the engine so i really wanna know whats the worse that could happen?? if anybody can let me know any info of whats the worst that could happpen please let me know!!! THANKS ALOT

You’ll blow the alternator and your car wont start

I have one for sale if your bent on buying one.

I too bought one but never installed because of this problem.

that and I run a 2000 watt system in my car.

so the worse that could happen is blowing up the alternator?? and im how long will it last with the pulley??? and what brand do you have yours?

wouldnt he be able to buy a aftermarket alternator, like a high output one (like the one in the DIY)

No, the worst that could happen is you buy a cheap pulley, its not balanced perfectly and your bearings go to hell. I wouldn't recommend an under-drive, although I have no personal experience with them. I would recommend the lightened AEM pulleys, but from what I understand you don't gain a whole lot of ponies. I'll be getting a set, but its only for the bling factor. They come in blue. I like blue.

he is talking about a lightened crank pully.^

But I never install mine.

It will last a few months with the lightened pully

Power stearing pull and AC pullys are ok its the crank pully thats a doosey!
