Another question for this piece....is it missing your key hole? I can't tell by looking at the pic, but it looks like the key hole needs to be cut out of the trunk to have the locking mechanism installed...is that the case?

Re: VIS CF Trunk lid installed!!!! :D
they must of started making the front trim piece cause a few of my friends have gotten those hoods and it didnt come with them, as for the keyhole you need to cut it out.
Re: VIS CF Trunk lid installed!!!! :D
Thanks for the info...and on the hood, yeah, I just ordered it about a month ago so maybe that's what's up...they probably got too many complaints. How in the hell are you going to make a big *** hood with rolled edges and not have the time to make a front trim piece??? Bummer your friends had that happen, at least they've got it fixed now.

I also plan to dremel this one so I can run a set of led's accross inside it to light my plate
Re: VIS CF Trunk lid installed!!!! :D
You said you got it used? Was the previous owner driving a red car? I bet he took the CF trim piece off and put his own on. Either way, I found a CF trim piece on ebay, but I bet it's not going to be a perfect match. It's highly probably that it's just a "carbon fiber look"... Anyhow, good luck man. Here's the link for the ebay piece:
