[b] Cusco Front Strut Bar Fits? [/b] I couple of days ago I saw someone post that an DC5 cusco front strut bar would fit our EM2. Is this to goog to be true or just a farce. Has anyone tried this before? Since Speedfactor my local performance shop told that it won't fit and if it did it won't clear my V2. So does anybody know1
Who can credilbly tell us that there is a CUSCO front upper strut bar out there that fits our cars?? Please provide a picture or part number, etc. I am VERY interested in one of these....thanks.
the DC CS-2 one...twin horizontal bars....
as for the DC5-R bar fitting, i dunno, but why not go with the neuspeed one like ^ said? it's much cheaper and just as effective from what i hear

you have a hard time reading?? a thread showing fitment as well as giving EXACT details on install is posted above. please read the above link

No need to be a wise ***...and just my point, one post says you must shave part of your hood, the other says that it clears with ease....which is correct...and BTW, the supposed picture that shows fitment doesnt work anymore...have some class and give people a little respect, there is always a time and place to flame, but some of you all are ridiculous....but, back to topic....Do we need to shave the hood for sure or not?? Im hoping this clears my k20a2 swap as well, but it looks like it would. Let me know

Yes it fits, i have it right now. It rubs the AEM intake though a little.

Do you have the exact product code of which one you have?? I know that CUSCO makes several ones, and I wanna make sure I am looking at the right one. And my intake is on the front of the engine with the K20, and I dont see any obvious interuptions, so hopefully Ill be OK. Thanks.

And obviously, NOT the one that bolts to the firewall at two points. If anyone can answer this, please let me know (talking to anyone who has it installed)!!!

i got mine installed at Nopi this past year... i got a thread or something somwhere.. and it is great.. if the V2 is there... it wont work.. the Injen is fine... and i love it..but go with a 02-04 rsx strut bar.. it's like $160 shipped most places

Yeah, I have a k-swap, so my intake isnt an issue with it, nor should there be any clearance issues.....What I need to know is which bar is it exactly, I know it sounds ridiculous that I keep asking, but the product # on that bar you just sent me a link to from vividracing.com is for the version that attaches to the back of the firewall.....is that the same style of the one you have installed?? Do you have ANY pictures of the one on your car, or anyway to verify the EXACT part number from any paperwork/reciepts from when you bought it?? I just know that there are several bars out there for the RSX, and I need to know which exact one is what people are using. Thanks for the help burke, thats why these forums are so useful!!

OK, I just found that one last night, and read that it just mounted to the strut tops, so Im glad you could provide verification with that burke. (Are you 100% sure that is the right code??) If so, where did you get yours from man?? Thanks a ton....

i bought mine from nopi nationals.... it was from the booth of nukabe...and the guys actually walked to my car with the bar before i boiught it to make sure it fits..and i bought it! so goto www.napsusa.com
