. big change from riding almost every weekend for 6 years Dude, be carefull! Those '04's are notorious for blowing up! You gotta keep tabs on valve clearance every 20ish hours. My little brother's has blown up twice now...the fist time it was only 2 weeks old...the f-er overheated and melted EVERYTHING in the head...Wasn't the fist one at our local shop with that problem either.
Do you race or just mess around?
(BTW, I meant the 04's have the problem...05 and up are okay...)

bike has brand new rebuilt motor new valves everything i bought it from my friend and his dad owns that shops just dirt as you can see on the graphics you cant find a minter bike.. but your right the uni cams are known for dropping valves its just something you have to deal with the bikes are suppose to be rebuilt every season anyway.

The first time blowing up didn't really have anything to do with valves...Honda just didn't put big enough radiators on the bikes and there was something else with the cooling system...couldn't keep the bike cool enough and BAM dead! Wish I would have gotten pics but half the piston was in the header...the other half in the bottom end, cylinder walls were NASTY looking....
Break-in? Is there such a thing? That's gotta be one of the most controversial things in the world! But like I said..cooling. Put bigger radiators on and filled it with engine ice and haven't had a problem since (well, cooling related that is).

yah i heard somethign about the hondas not having enough cooling, but if its not broken in properly that will hurt alot too. hey chris is the rebuilt motor broken in or not?
breaking a bike in is one of the most important things. actually the most important. if you jump on the bike and go wide open the first time dont expect much life on the engine.....
brand new off the showroom floor, go straight to the track and the first turn what happens, poaw new motor!!

uh r you serious lol.. thats the reason your brother bike blew up you have to ride the bike 1/4 throttle for 10 hours b4 the bike is properly broken in.. if its not broken in it will blow up asap..
and nah my bike has 0 hours on it but break in procedure is different for rebuilt motor i only have to 1/4 throttle it for 30 mins let it sit for 20 then 1/2 throttle for 30 mins then let it sit and its done..
