Rep Power: 0 lemme know your average mileage =)
when i got a sri in my 03 coupe, my mileage was usually 320-340 miles before i had to fill up...but now after new ngk iridiums and a sun auto hyper voltage system, it's at 280 when i gotta fill up! wtf? supposedly all the additions were suppose to increase my mileage. i got a gas happy foot too btw.
so what's everyone else able to get on their civics before hitting the dreaded pump? i'm only using unleaded cuz of the high prices...

Rep Power: 238 hyper voltage system?! "i'm only using unleaded cuz of the high prices..."....wtf ur not suppost to use leaded u mean 87? our cars dont need anything higher than 87 unless ur turboed and need the 93 octance....did u gain a lot of weight? adding some weight to the car obviously ruins your mpg and do u mean hwy mileage? Iridium spark plugs are used mostly for turboed cars also....so u can use v-power ngk's just to save some money

Rep Power: 0 yes i meant regular when i said that cuz i used to get better mileage on premium (my friend is a honda service manager and he recommended premium) but it's so expensive now. i'm a home health nurse so im on the road a lot right now and this loss in mileage is getting frustrating. it doesn't matter either way, highway or city, i was just wondering where everyone is on the mileage scale.

I get 34 to 36mpg and I dont even have a converter!! Got v2 intake, iridium plugs, dc race header, pulleys, dc exhaust, and still get around 440 to 480 miles out of a full tank of 87. Dont know, you must be driving your car like it was turbocharged or something. Slow down a little, the harder you push the gas the faster the gas goes bye-bye!! Its a civic!! Even if its got a sri should only use 87.

Thanks again bro Looks like new!! Do you have to replace any gasket when removing the tb? How often do you recommend cleaning this?

Rep Power: 787 there is a gasket yes. between tb and the sensor. might as well change that. but yea just keep spraying until its clean. mine was gunked up alot. idk ive only done it once and it was pretty bad. i think i need to do it again soon cause my idle isnt as smooth as it should be. oh yea when you put it all back on, you have to do the idle learn or rpm will be way off.

Rep Power: 261 I usually fill up just under half a tank usually and get about 250 or so out of it...farthest I've been is 330 or so. Usually get 34-38(max has been 38.7 on last tank) Just changed spark plugs to iridium plugs half way thro last tank.
Mods are just a K&N replacement filter, Magnaflow exhaust, 17s, and 2 12s.
I think I'm doing good since the lowest I've been is 29.something and that was once. Every other time its been over 32 and I'm surprised cause of the extra weight.

Rep Power: 0 Unless you are empty it's pretty much impossible to tell. I've gone to empty on a full tank and went 422 miles. It's supposed to be a 10 gallon tank right? No way was I getting 42.2miles at 75mph.

I could probably drive farther before putting gas in, but I really, really don't trust the fuel guage at all. I've actually seen the low fuel light come on once recently though, so I guess at least I know that works.

Rep Power: 410 ive filled up 12.9 gallons before in the civic. it definitely has more than a 10 gallon tank, but no more than 13.x gallons.
civic i usually get 26 city, 30+ highway
miata i get 24 city, 30+ highway. i need to do a lot of maintenance work on this car to get it running better.

Isnt the vtec in the car used to switch for 12 to 16 valve mode. Thought there was no high rpm vtec. I have read on this before, dont think thats how it works, but you know your **** please explain cause this subject is killing me i need proof!!!!
