evo or keep my civic
ok there is a 06 evo that i can get with only 2000 on it. they want 27500 and if i do a trade in they will only give 8650 for my ride. should i tread in my civic for a faster car. or should i just keep my civic and not have to worry bout a neew car payment. i have been thinking about this all day. what should i do????

How many miles does your car have?.It would probably be better if you parted out your car.

Haha yah it is...i was thinking your car might of been in the 60-75k range.
But hey if you can afford the payments then the evo is a very nice upgrade.

i bought a 03 350z saturday night and im picking it up in less than 24hours from this post.... i still have the civic mostly cus the 350z purchase was kinda spontaneous. but the excitement of a NICE new car is just awsome.

I would say do it as well, trade in the vic.
I was thinking of trading in my vic for about 2 weeks now. I was thinking about the Lexus IS 250 RWD model. I think I just might buy a house instead.

if you do alot of driving then i suggest you just keep the civic. I wouldn't trust a used Evolution even if it would have 100 miles. Those 2000 miles couldve been driven to hell and back so the owner finally grew tired of it. Who knows what problems lie within. If you can afford it though, id just spring for the new Evolution 9s since the MSRP is around $31,xxx. Good luck with your decision though!

dont under estimate imports man you can drive them past hell and nothing would happen to them. maybe stupid junk like tires or maybe the first oil change if its ony 2000m.
i say if you can afford the insurance and payments and gas go for it man. it is a big step though.

Miles are getting up there on the civic, might be time to move on. Remember you will pay more for gas/insurance/repairs when the warranty is up on the evo. You might try selling the civic private party, or at least compare with local listings for what people are asking for similar cars. Obviously, most people get more on a private sale than a trade. Also, as far as the Evo having it's *** kicked in those 2k miles, ask the dealer what the story is. If it was repo'd, i'd pass, but if he just traded it in for something else, it might be ok. Maybe his girlfriend/wife got pregnant, maybe a woman owned and she got pregnant, etc. One of my friends got an 06 eclipse with like 5k, and the guy before her had to get rid of it cause he couldn't afford payment. She's had it for over 6 months, and no sign the last guy beat the car at all.

evo is nice for the power and all but if you already have 130,000 miles on your civic imagine how much more you can get out of it...i bet you the evo wont last that many miles and still be able to go another 100,000 more or whatever
^^mmm my boy has 60k on his 04 EVO. and he has plenty of mods and has broke down, or any trouble what so ever....he races it every weekend..not 1 problem...if the car aight tuned right then ocourse is going to **** the bed early..
