Ya I was going to ask if you just dropped the front as well. Did you buy the car used? The previous owner may have cut the springs.

I bought her certified used a few years ago. Is there a way I can tell if it was cut by just lookin at the spring or do I need to have it off in order to tell? I drove my friends civic same year same body style and i dont feel a difference

Trust me, by looking at that, there's modification. It might be aftermarket springs, just look up under there and see if they're a rusty brown colour, in which case they're stock. Or if they're red, blue or some other colour, they're aftermarket. I'm guessing they were cut or there's just strain on the front end for some reason. But something is going on there, run a Carfax on the VIN. They're free.
