there are several different versions. the UK mirrors are folding but not power. and then there is EDM and JDM. who knows what else. I think the problem with the mirror angle is because they are made for RHD cars. Just like JDM headlights aim straight into oncoming traffic. Because our drivers side is their passenger side, I would assume that the mirror is not angled well because normally it would not need to go so far.

in comment to the mirrors and their angle and all....both of mine have a convex lens (where the USDM ones have a curved lens on the pass side, BOTH of mine are like that. hardly any blind spots)

aparently this is the power folding mirrors expert thread and got a few questons.
firstly i'm trying to figure out the wire collors. i got the realy and switch and the mirrors but they all have diffrent wire collors than what i've seen.
for example the relay has motly green wires mine has mostly red. i'm starting to think the relay is actualy a DRL relay or somting.
relay has:
red/yel
blk
red/grn
wht/yel
red/blu
mirror switch has:
blk
yel/blk
blank
yel/wht
blu/grn
blu/wht
light grn
blu/org
blank
red/grn
