I too think OEM is the way to go....the aftermarket taillights have been over done.

I had ones very similar to those. The fake CF made my car look so gay. It was a waste of money in my opinion. I put my stock tails back in a week later.

Since you have an '05, i say stick with the oem tails cuz those look make your clean and not ricey.

Yeah, it's an '05. Like I say, I love the OEM look, & I do agree that aftermarket tails have been overplayed, I just thought the price was right on those. Around here they're askin over $300 !! I also know APC=CRAP

no, the dont work perfectly, different size bulbs so you will either have to get the bulbs/harnesses from an 04-05 as well and match them, or just tape the bulbs into the slots that they go into... which is what i did going from 04-05 to 01-03 (i like 01-03 better)

also there are 4 bulbs in the 01-03 taillights and 3 bulbs in the 04-05 taillights (04-05 dont have the little triangle ones on the side)

im sure you can make it work with some electrical tape, but if you want it perfect, you gotta change some harnesses... but no one can see the tape unless they peel back the carpet on the inside of your trunk anyways, so tapes the way to go IMO

05 tails are hotter than any tails for the civic.... dont do the mistake i did..... TRUST ME
