Backed into something...
I honestly dont even know what I hit, Saturday night coming back from a club, I pulled into a plaza so my buddy could take a leak, and I remember backing out and bumping something, but it was POURING, so I thought nothing of it coz it was so light. I figured I just brushed my bumper against a post or something. Guess not!

damn that sucks you better hope they can pull that out; it would suck to have to get a new trunk... oh and if you were drunk when you did I don't feel sorry, but if not sorry man that really does suck.

I thought about it, but what would I do with my spoiler? I bought the Si package with a spoiler, why would I pay extra monthly for something I'm not even using.
And I wont mount a red spoiler on a CF trunk :P

That one guy was offering a CF trunk + hood combo, so I have tried to contact him regarding this. If he gives me a good price to Ontario, Canada, I may just do that. $800 for a new trunk from Honda?! ****ing robbery.

Pretty sure you backed into the end of a dumpster. That's almost identical to the way my trunk looked when someone drove it and backed into a dumpster. I had to get a new trunk lid too, but they paid for it. Have fun with that!! lol

got a quote to fix it..
bend out the dent, weld a new piece of metal in, paint it. Apparently top notch work, $500 cdn ($250 paint, $250 fix)..
remember I'm from Ontario, winter = cold. Most CF hoods and trunks aren't meant for year round use. You'll get cracks at stress points where the CF flexes.

but it shouldnt cost you 900. there is NO WAY that paint supplies and painting it will cost 2x the cost of the part itself. especially for red...which isnt even metallic.
