Rep Power: 0 Alluring Effects of BLACK-OUT HEADLIGHTS: PICS!!!
Just thought I share my fruits of labor. It was one hell of a night; I spent 7 hours blacking out my lights and went paint crazy and painted the Honda emblem mesh and spark plug cover as well
Full shot of the front - I know I know... scoop was from the old ricer days
Passenger Side
Driver Side
Spark plug cover - Thanks to GearBox for the inspiration
Overall, not such a hard job, just time consuming. The hardest part was getting the headlights apart. Damn that black tar Honda uses on the coupes. Thank God I have a heat gun . I'm pretty satisfied with what I did. Blacked out lights makes a whole world of difference

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, hood scoop will be off by summer and replaced by carbon fiber hood!!! Man.... I can't believe I did that - it was two years ago when I was in High School and I just slapped everything on Now I'm going for the clean look. So shameful of my High School days
Paint I used for the spark plug cover was "Racing Red" High Temp caliper paint from Autozone. For the Headlights, 1 coat of high temp engine primer and 2 coats of high temp black engine paint.

Rep Power: 0 Why did you guys think I put so much effort into blacking out those lights?? I was hoping the blacked out lights would balance out the hideous scoop As far as waiting for the summer, that is when I actually work full time and taking some time off from college, so the $$$ will be heading my way.
Plans for the summer includes:
1) Plain carbon fiber hood
2) Upgrade 16" chrome rims to 17" black rims with polished lip
3) Destroy mirror tint and get DARK black tint
4) Get 04-05 coupe tail lights
5) Maybe a small drop? Not certain - too many potholes in Houston
6) Paint calipers & drums RED!!!!!
I'm on a major make-over roll here That's if I don't get tempted into buying a sportsbike.

Rep Power: 0 You guys are too much I knew I'd get flame for that scoop, but at least someone bought one just like me - just had some sense in him to not put it on This site has really influenced me into the right direction. Thanks to all who contributed into this thread whether if it's a compliment or contructive criticism.
