Rep Power: 322 Blacked out Headlights - Need some opinions
Alrighty, So i'm right in the middle of blacking out my stock headlights. And I'm kinda stuck on making a decision. Should I leave the amber insert in, or leave it out? Maybe some of you guys who have blacked out lights should chime in on what you did and how you like the results. ATM I'm kinda leaning towards leaving it in, but I'm not that sure...

Rep Power: 322 I'm rockin' the Inca...
I found a pic of Vtek2k2's blacked out headlights....
I'm not so sure if I like having that amber piece in now. You almost can't tell they're blacked out unless you're 4 feet away...

Rep Power: 322 I've got an Inca Pearl, with a black RS grille I just got done molding to the factory radiator cover yesterday. But anyways, I painted the amber piece and took a quick pick of the (sort of) final product

Rep Power: 322 Yes, I checked for translucency, It's just like smoked tails. I only put two very light coats on there...but I was thinking of maybe scribing a circle somewhere in there for it to shine through.

Rep Power: 322 Thanks. I finally got both of them done the way I wanted and sealed them up yesterday. I might put them back on my car temporarily, while I take out my cheapy projectors and pull them apart to see about painting them a different color and painting the stupid chrome reflectors in the parking lights. I don't like how the chrome reflectors stand out on the black housing projectors...
