Question about what years are good to buy

Hello all, im new to the honda world so please lend me some knowledge. I have an '01 EX that i wanna sell and get either a newer civic or 2000-03 accord. What years are good? my 01 with its auto has tranny issues and 5 speeds are really hard to come by for both civic and accord. are there good years for civics and accords newer than 2000.

he dont have a 5spd he has a auto, so a 5spd swap would be expensive.

just get a newer tranny from an '03 civic and up. the automatic transmission has more "bugs" worked out. its probably your cheapest alternative anyways.
