noe exhaust just headers?
since i have an LX, i bought race headers now i'm waiting on my exhaust which i havn't ordered yet BUT until then could i intall my headers and high flow cat and have just that until i get my exhaust?
Yeah, I suppose you could. I would say goodbye to ANY bottom end power as well being extremely loud. I played around with mine at one point with "open-header"....WOW. I think you'll last an hour driving like that.

youre planning to drive with only header? Atleast bolt on your stock exhaust back on, oh wait.......... D17A1 cars cant do that. good luck explaining it to the cops
i think i will but i'm deciding on what exhaust now, shoulld i go with a good name brnad : A'pexi, GReddy, HKS, Megan, Skunk 2. or maybe a custom one from down the street
or like some random japanese one from ebay?

get the dimensions of a kit you like and go to the shop down the street and get them to do the piping in accordance...will b cheaper then get the muffler from whatever brand you want
When I put my header and downpipe on, I took it for a spin without the rest of the exhaust and it was EXTREMELY loud. It was kinda funny but I didn't even want to hit the gas when I was going through my neiborhood.

But i will sell my CAT if the exhaust come with one i but im not sure if i should keep the high flow and use it instead or the other one ?

Tanabe, GReddy, and A'pexi are cat-back exhaust, meaning they do not replace the catalytic converter on the car.....HKS is 227 because it is merely an axel-back exhaust, meaning only the muffler and about 2ft. of piping (bends over rear sway and attaches). If you are wanting a little more performance and don't mind removing the cat.....buy a hi-flow cat or I believe Megan Racing has a test pipe. Check into it.

^ He said he has the High Flow Cat already, so my suggestion would be to go with GReddy, A'pexi, or Tanabe cat back, you don't wanna run a race header, high flow cat, then use your stock piping then go to a larger piping from axle back. It doesn't make sense to do that. Open that thing up with the cat back. Everything should bolt right up. Or take it to a muffler shop and have it all welded together.

I knew someone would say that to him, notice in my reply, "Header" is used. I stress that alot with my friends too, i'm like ah man, it header, when did you get a V6/V8 in your car?
Sorry Header, Headers i'm just used to saying headers although its wrong so sorry if it annoys you, but i might get a cat back cause it just seams best performance wise but when i see pics of stuff they have cats on them or with them like these

oh well i didn't know that thanks now i just gotta save up some cash which really all i need is my next check and to sell one of my High Flow Cats cause i have 2
I'm deciding now between megan and A'pexi???? and suggestions
