Question What Do You Think??

What problem would you pridict to see if someone were to buy Stage 3 Cam with springs and rods but everything elts stock?? What would be the first thing to break on the car?? Thanks As Always Guys!!

maybe because you didnt ask a complete question. i will elaborate. first off using a stg 3 cam you are going to move the power band from lower rpms to upper rpms. well your stock ecu will not allow you to rev above 7k so that is a major set back because the cam is meant to make power in the higher rpms that you cant reach, second off you ask about replacing rods but pistons were not mentioned. if i am not mistaken our pistons are pressed on to our rods via the wrist pins. so any replacement of rods would also include pistons. then when you mention rods you say nothing about the length of the rod and how much your increasing the compression ratio with the rod and piston replacement. third off the car wont survive with out a bigger set of injectors and a way to tune them. the new cam also has notches for the injector and ignition timing and will require a larger vloume of fuel to be delivered. fourth you may not be able to keep the car running with out some idle adjustments through a stand alone ECU or piggyback. but if you did decide to run them with out anything else my guess would be the rods would be the first to break due to improper air fuel ratios
