I HAD them. Alternator pulley broke the alternator so off it came. I still have the ps pulley which does not harm anything. I would say 1whp gain but it looks much better than stock! don't install the alt pulley.

well mine lasted a few months. the shop said with the pulley, the alt had to be working non stop to keep the battery charged and energize power systems. this caused it to just burn out. usually it will turn off when the power isn't needed.
Yeah it took me long enough to figure out what pulleys i got , but i ordered a unorthidox racing crankshaft pulley to match i hope it all pays off i have a stock stereo as well, except for my cd player but no amps or subs here

you shouldnt be messing with your crankshaft pulley unless you have a seriously jacked and built engine and the pulley is built to spec.... those things arent worth the increased power compared to the reliability issues you'll have.

what about getting a high out put alt like this http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=243694 i think it should work then. I think its worth it i felt some difference with both pulleys on. I'm considering on getting a high out put alt just to get the alt pulley back on.

the same will happen. with that small a pulley, the alt has to work alot harder than before. i'm sure the ho will also drain more hp in the process so really you won't be gaining anything.
well you guys got to me before the order shipped it has since been cancelld thanx.....i guess, kinda bumd i was lookin more more bolt-on power... any suggestions.......

Or you could do what i did and run just the alt. That does give power and hela better throttle response. all i had to do was buy a 34 inch belt. Also weight reduction like a ****.
Everyone talks about how hard it is to get more horsepower out our cars. AEM pulleys positively get you 2-3 WHP for about $125. As much or more HP as a catback exhaust, for a lot less $. Any time you get horsepower at the rate of $75 per hp, you're doing great! I did it, and so far so good. I was careful to not get the belts too tight. My car is a daily driver, and the 10 extra horsies it has makes a noticeable difference in pure driveability. I never have to downshift on the highways in hilly Northern Cal, and can even climb the Grapevine in 5th gear. This was not the case before the mods. (03 Ex manual with AEM V2 intake, DC Sports header, AEM pulleys, Throttle heater bypass, Denso Irridium spark plugs, Mobil 1 synthetic oil, Nuespeed front upper strut brace, and as of this coming weekend, lowering springs.) If you want to add 10 WHP to a seventh gen you almost have to think about pulleys.

if the crank pulley it's ok but it's a pain in the *** put it plus you have to change the timing belt and the other pulleys you shouldn't install it if your car is daily driven if you want to gain hp at the track take out your altenator and powerbelt at the track it can lower your time..LOL
