don't take out your rear seats!
i stripped the whole back of my car today and put it all right back. I was going for some more weight reduction but man the road and exhaust noise is unbearable without seats. Well it wasn't a total loss. I was able to put a layer of carpet foam and carpet down along with putting carpet in my trunk bottom. Also ended up snapping off my defroster plug. so, i had to superglue it back and not sure if it works now. My favorite part, I shaved the middle seat belt. It would always get stuck and not go back up well finally i pulled out the whole thing and cut off the buckle. nobody should be sitting in the middle anyway haha

Rep Power: 374 yeah it is super loud without them!!!! i used that carpet foam too to deaden all the rear of the car like you; it was like 15 bucks for about 10 yards of it

Rep Power: 812 it looks alot cleaner now and that stupid box with the belt in it used to rattle all the time. Now there is hardly any rattle. 
I'm surprised how easy it was to cut the belt with a pair of dull scissors lol

Rep Power: 812 well i tried. there was just a screw holding it on. but unfortunately honda skimped on the fabric so there is a big metal square and its quite visible from someone looking in the rear window. so i just left it on. its too bad i threw away the door fabric or i could have glued on a square maybe.
you took the rear seat out. I know you wernt doing it so you could run quicker times at the strip. However taking out the rears is to ricer as mullet is to redneck. Yeah you put them back back but thats wasnt the original plan.

I heard a story today on car talk today about an engineer who purchased one of those tornado air mixers for his truck. He was going to test it out and see what it did for his mpg. His friends/coworkers spotted the perfect opportunity to mess with him. They started adding gas to his tank.

Rep Power: 321 Nick, let me say something, WTF are you talking about ricer? Plenty of JDM cars are gutted, 1. for weight, 2. for looks That isn't being a ricer at all, being a ricer would be him putting NOS seat covers and seat belt pads that say Powered By Honda in Japanese.

It does. If you have a show car or something along those lines then I can see it but until that day it screams rice. If he gets pulled over for speeding and the cop sees your back seats removed your not talking your way out of that dish of rice.
hehehe... oh gearbox that's some funny stuff. Wish it woulda went alittle better for ya though. I was waiting to see how it turned out... cause i keep my back seats down most of the time so i can hear the subs better.
