sooo i went to home depot to get a mesh grille, but the guy had no idea what i was talking bout, soo what is it called in building terms and what would i use to cut it?/?

who gives a **** about what its called, just tell him you needed mesh for a project, tin snips or big sharp scissors for like pruning bushes and stuff is what i used

That's right, it's for putting over your gutters, that way the leaves don't get stuck in there and you can just flip up the grill and get rid of the leaves. Easy cleaning. I had the same problem with my car, finally figured out what it was called. Make sure you get the metal stuff because you can get plastic too, the metal comes in a pack of 3 or so. I painted mine white before install.
