Painted hooods anyone??!
Im considering painting my hood (the centre part of it within the lines) when summer hits, and im jus curious what it will look like. Ive seen some photochop pics, but i wanna see some real stuff.. I know there are probably very few of you on the site, but if anyone has this done, or know someone who does.. post some pics.. i would appreciate it.. thanks

i was also considering a cf hood but im assuming thats rice too.

the few i have seen look bad. (even with CF center/painted sides sometimes)

4*banger... are u on crack?

wouldnt hurt to change up the car a little bit from stock, dont be afraid of some change. lets just label all mods "rice" and then everyone that has anything other than stock will be rice, and therefore < you.

^^lol...i've seen a couple that actually turned out pretty well, just don't overdo it, try to stay with some body lines or something so it still looks clean

im not saying all mods are rice, im just against painting a certain part of your car liek the middle or ur hood, wuts the purpose? jsut get a CF hood, and if u want u could even paint it ur stock color, there is no point in the mod ur thinknig about, but hey! do it if u want.

cf doesnt match a black theme for everyone. it looks clean. i think it will look sick. if it goes it the body lines it looks good. just like BIG's roof. amazing.

lol painting the middle of a stock hood is the same thing as painting the middle of a cf hood.. it just costs way more money. in my case I can get my hood painted for roughly $500 less than the cost of a cf hood, plus it all looks the same from away.. and im not going for performance, more for show..

wow 4 lbs eh.

do you really think that makes that much of a difference? thats like putting a 2L bottle of pepsi in the car and then saying it is slowing you down.

and also.. its a civic. unless you have a turbo or a K-20 all your mods are for show.. otherwise you are better off with an rsx anyway.

yea either way, take your shoes off before you drive and you'll have the same difference, but wait! if you have the hood and take your shoes off then your car will have twice the affect!
