what tail lights?
if u can sand the chrome with some 1500 grit, pprim it then paint it to go along with the theme of ur car somehow. But its really easy PM me if u need help or u can just black spray tint ur OEM stock one and tape off the reverse light area.. Stock is always cleaner with a lil creativity

Youll probobly like the stock better, and, after you see a bunch of other cars with these youll want to take em off. I was going to get some at first but waited and no im glad i never did! But if you like them by all means get some.
beleive me, i bought my car when i was 16, a year ago, and i thought those tails were all cool and stuff, but not i have completely went against them and stupid me sold them to some guy on this forum, so i went to my local speed shop adn got the spray to black out taillights, and my cars black, so itl look nice when i get a chance to do it, stick with the stock tails, youl want them again, trust me

Don't those ugly *** tails, they look horrible, stick with your stocks, you'll see why, they will fog up, you will get harrassed for having them, and then you'll realize how much better stock 01-03 or 04-05's look.

hes right... my cf tails are starting to fog.. but they look great. chrome sucks.. go with cf.

Am I the only one who liked the 01-03 taillights a little better, something about the big Cs for brakelights. But yeah I can see how the 04-05s do make the car look sportier, I only put the older ones on my 05 vic cuz someone cracked one of them and they were cheeper.

But the APC original euro tails with the 3 bulb triangle design with carbon-fiber backing looks amazing on white and silver cars and the same model in chrome looks equally good on dark color civics. I'm completely anti APC in every respect but this topic. However, altezzas are obviously stupid and every ricer with access to e-bay has them on their riced-out-underlight-coffee-can muffler-sorry excuse of a 7th gen, the TYC's are butt-ugly in my opinion and fading out rears just looks stupid on a civic unless it's black and you're going for that look. IMHO it seems that the APCs are the only acceptable alternative to stock if you don't like the TYC's. I woulnd't trust anything else by that company, but they're lights right? That's almost impossible to **** up.
