I wondering for my 2003 Civic Lx coupe, whats the best size of rim I should put on ? I was thinking 17's, but I was told thats too big, and how bad does it kill gas mileage ?
Thanks

Rep Power: 287 rims huh...it really depends on what you're going for? more performance or show? performance wise i would so with some 16's, show i would go 18 instead. I went with 18's and yes they are heavy, depending on what kind of rims you're getting. Also yes my gas mileage went down when i got heavy 18 inch axis mod 7 rims. When i had my 17 inch racing hart C2's the gas mileage was much better. Hope that helps man

As for gas mileage.. it won't hurt much. My ex is stickered at 38mpg. I was getting 35mpg with stock and now with my 17s I'm getting about 33mpg.
