My sister hit may car a few days ago and I just wanted to get some more opinions other than my own and the collision place. Sorry I couldnt put the image in the thread but I did put it in my profile.

I went to the collision place today and they gave me an estimate of about 1K, without a new headlight. I wanted to save some money so I was thinking of buying and attatching a new bumper myself and just having them repair the fender and paint the parts or something like that. If you have any ideas for me please post em. Thanks.

put in a police report saying that you got hit at the mall while you were inside. It might show up on carfax. thats the only shitty part.

For the lights, you can get a pair of TYC projectors for about what a single headlight costs from Honda. That might be a better route to go. For the bodywork, unless you have the skills/equipment to paint and repair yourself, your best bet is to just have them repair/paint the stuff and then put it on yourself. A word of caution though - after an accident, the things might not fit perfectly and the adjustments would be included in the original estimate whereas they would be extra if you put the parts on yourself and then found they did not fit properly.

a single oem headlights can be found for ~$60 on ebay. a front bumper unpainted can also be found on ebay for ~$150.

Thanks for the advice. I looked on ebay and found front bumpers and fenders for like 70-90 primed and shipped.
