I am planning on getting a vis carbon fiber trunk for my civic coupe, but some people told me that vis sucks that it will start to fade and other stuff will happen, so I would like to know what you guys think about that? Also I'm gonna order a hood but like they told me about the trunk to dont get vis to get seibon, what u think?

yah im getting a ViS evo hood and a vis trunk. all my friednd around town have them and they are fine

the only reason why peoples VIS hoods fade or whatnot is because people dont take care of them. you just have to wax and **** regularly and youll be fine.

vis=trash i had a vis hood and that bitch cracked and faded like crazy, and dont gimme this you didnt take care of it crap because that was when my car was a show car and i waxed that bitch once every 2 weeks. i think the texas sun mighta been the toll that faded it so bad though.

i dont think VIS puts uv protection coating on or if they do not enough of it, that's just what i heard too, not from personal experience

Personaly, I've heard that all CF trunks are easy to brake into...also if u have a system that the CF trunks have a lot of rattle to them.
