NEED Advice ASAP! on this auction

OK, i have a 4dr, LX (non-vtec)

Now, i'm guessing i would need the vtec controller for this and the ecu, plus, labor-wise, i have a mechanic friend
So...Is this worth it? i can pay this with a paycheck, and i am able to pick this up, SO IS THIS WORTH BUYING? this is just for right now, than im going turbo... vtec or not, SO U GUYS LET ME KNOW

devilvtec is an unknown quantity at this point

If you're going turbo just stay with the lx, the non vtec has a little lower compression. you could put that 250 towards a better fuel system.

stay with the lx because lower compression = better for turbo. And that is an HX engine on ebay. It will prolly make less power than what you have cause it is lean burn vtec. the valves open in such a way as to make the engine run lean. Tuning that would be a nightmare and prolly not even work very well.
