Rep Power: 252 Its a brand name. www.claymagic.net Claymagic is a good product for the weekend detailer, but there are others that are suited for professional detailing and specific aggressivness.

Rep Power: 327 Thats your first time using clay Dru?!? Man, youve been missing out. I love claying my car. Comes out better than from the factory. I personally havent tried the Mothers California Clay System (Im guessing thats what you used), because I use the Meguiars, but it all comes out the same.
Very nice work!

Rep Power: 252 Well if you or your dad has experience and your trying to get rid of some major defects in the clear, then wet-sanding and buffing out the sanding marks is a great method. Its definetly something that if you dont have experience then you shouldnt do it. Try the claybar first and see if you are happy with the results, that will cost you 10 bucks max. If you dont like that then you may look into wet-sanding the finish. Wet-sanding is a last resort though. You cant really compare the two, they do totally different things to the finish.

Rep Power: 286 ehh, again i was just interested in what people personally thought looks best, a fresh buffed car or a fresh clayed car. sometimes buffers burn the paint or leave marks so i was wondering what people preferred.
and yes experience is there, dads got 40 years experience and its really not that hard to wet-sand, do it twice and if you understand what your doing you cant f-up.
