I want to do something w/ the head and tail lights. I really think that whatever someone does should be consistent (clear in front w/ clear in back or black in front w/ black in back and so on). But I want to try something different from those. I was thinking:
1) Clear the OEM headlights and paint it to match the body color (maroon in my case) and order some altezzas and also paint them body color. Anyone done this?

or

2) get the lamin-x films in smoked (17% tint) for the heads and tails, but I don't know how poor the light output form the heads would be. Anyone done this?

or if you have a better idea lay it on me

i have eyelids on my tails...and the heads.. i also matched the small reflector to match the car color.. looks CLEAN IMO!

yea people have painted the housings same color as the car before and ive seen people smoke out headlights and tails before as well, not so much on 7thgens but on other rides, not a big fan though, i say leave the tails alone, and if u clear out the headlights, keep em like that or black out with amber, but thats just imo.
