i bought painted ssm eyelids for my vic from gearbox. i put them on and one of them comes up missing last night. considereing the obssessive time i put into making sure they wouldn't go anywhere, i think some asshat ripped one off. i re-tracked all my steps and drove around looking for it but i couldn't find it. son of a bitch! one day. i had them for 1 day. and they looked really nice too. i HATE PEOPLE!!!!

you would think i would catch the guy. cause it was a bitch taking off the other one so the car didn't look gay with one eyelid on. ripping off the tape from the headlights sucked too. o well. ill learn something from painting my new ones once they arrive. i ordered new ones off of ebay. wish my luck on these. maybe people won't be so mean to my baby

rustcivic is selling a pair of SSMs. i threw him an offer but he said no. we disagreed. anyway. pm him. and i ordered new ones off of ebay. im gonna paint them myself. then i will have to figure out what to do so if someone wants to rip one off then it will be hard. anyway. good luck

i bought seperate 3m tape for mine and lined THE WHOLE BACK with it to put it on, right after i tried my hardest to take it off, but its stuck for good now. next time i suggest add more 3m to the little strips they come with

when I had my first set of lids, one flew off while I was driving, (must've been the way i put them on). I now have the CF lids and I made sure i followed the installation directions. I also check when I clean my car if the adhesive is coming out. Either that or pray that no jealous a$$hole's gonna rip it off my headlights.

haha do what I did... JB weld the eyelids to the headlights. I guarantee the headlight housings will break before the eyelid starts to budge! haha

only downside is that jbweld is a gray-green color so you only have 1 shot and 5 mins to clean it up!

no i want the option to remove them if i want. i bought mine from this guy on ebay. he is in cali and it was 16 bucks shipped to my house. the purchase was like 5. i knew the shipping was too much but i bought them anyway. im gonna go to the dealership and see if i can buy some SSM spray paint before i order it online. see which is cheaper. i already got the primer and clear coat ready. im set. they came with square double sided sticky things. i can't explain it. BTW what installation instructions? i never heard them. i just used double sided permanent hold tape. both sides. i knew one got ripped off cause i did 80mph the first day installed them. then when i tried to rip the other one off so my car wouldn't look stupid, it took a crapload of force. i got owned. o well. im painting the new ones soon. the guy has a website. its more expensive tho. k2motor.com
