Who's cars are going to be displayed at SEMA this year?
Well, the Las Vegas SEMA show is just 6 weeks away. With Honda the official manufacturer, and the Civic the Official Vehicle of the 2005 SEMA Show, How many 7G members rides are going to be featured in booth's or show areas this year?
Last year my car (01 Coupe) was in the AEM booth. This year it will be part of the Official Honda display. I know that there will be about twenty 06 Civic SI's there but American Honda have also gone really *****-out to pack the place with late model Honda/Acura's.

I would take offense if it were not true... prolly the only 7G in the world that actually needed a rear wing...

The car was made in the early fall 2000 and after the launch of the platform was loaned to AEM to be used as the basis for a show car. It spent 2 years like that, with it's registered owner still being American Honda. I got the car in 2003 specifically to use as a race car. The title was transferred to me from Honda with the express condition that it could never be registered as a car and the VIN was reported to the DMV as such.
I still carry the American Honda issued plate on the car since the car is complete and could be driven on the street, though it never will. When I am done with the car, I am supposed to strip all my stuff from it and deliver the shell back to Honda so they can crush it.
Near as I can tell, it's the oldest surviving 7th Gen in private hands. All the other cars were pulled back in 2003 for "disposal" and the low vin #'s (like under 0060) were never even built into running cars, being "white body" shells only for fitment checks.
Attached is a picture taken in late 2000, the car was already a car show vetran for AEM.

Nice ride. I might be going to SEMA. I was picked up by Honda last year as a booth car, but an unfortunate accident on the way there kept me from showing up. I actually have a few friends in the Honda booth this year. I'm in talks right now to get picked up between a few different companys. Trying to talk out the specifics.
