Got my hp racing header on!
Got my hp racing header on!
It definatly has more bottem end through mid range power. Havently really tested it up top cause I had the wife and kid in the car. Im hoping to break 15s with car now seeing it did 16.1 stock @ 85. So im guessing with cold weather a good launch and the header, judging by what what I feel now in power is good for a 15.9 or so @ 86. Yes this my only mod on this car and the header is twice the size of the stock one.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Yeah i wanted an intake first but on the second day at nopi last weekend they were blowing out everything for cheap. Hp hearders were only $20 bucks not 200 but 20. So i had to get one for my wifes 02 civic and one for my h22 civic.

The 02 civic is my wifes, I have a 94 4 door civic with h22 running 14.14 with only intake and exhaust. The only reson we got the header is because it was so cheap plus i just wanted to blow some mony on the o2 civic cause when i drive it, it sucks cause it was always stock LOL.

Well i took the car for a 10 min test drive and heres what I came up with.
Noticable power gain up to 4,000 RPMs And a slight power gain up to 7,000 Rpms.
In all honesty it really feels almost the same between 5 and 7 grand witch is what you use for 1/4 mile. But i think it just feels the same cause theres such a big difference down low. I will be running it 1/4 mile next week to see if i hit 15s Then I will hit this thread back up.

15 mins? crap mine took 2 days. i stripped 3 nuts takin it off, had to go to sears and get that stripped nut kit (btw, that kit took all 3 nuts off in like 30 seconds. well worth the money). Nearly broke my wrist too. disconnected the down pipe and my arm was wrapped around it.
