2001 Mazda Protege ES 2.0, not too bad, okay KMs, fully loaded w/sunroof and all.
It needs a new shift **** though.... are shifter ***** like always universal or what's the deal?? Any links to some nice real CF shifters? Found some nice ones on ebay but after shipping they aren't such a good deal anymore

some ***** are universalbut use plasic couplings to screw in to the shaft, the best screw on to the factory shaft... they might be a little more but they wont spin wobble off like the cheap ones...
i know a honda civic **** has a 10x1.5 thread pitch.. maybe a mazda protoge is the same

try ultrarev.com i just ordered my pedals from there and i got my shifter from them too they were pretty good i got it in like 4-5 days and try looking into the ichibahn parts they make great shifters and pedals. i know that from experience lol i got both

Turbo that bish, Mental Addiction Motorsports makes a helluva turbo kit for those cars, I think they have a P5 running 12s or something? It can take down a modded Evo. Nice ride, I picked up a Mazda3 a few months ago myself, it owes most of its handling heritage to the Protege, great lil cars.

he's not looking to do any mods to this car, once he replaces the shift **** because the stock one is all worn out, that will probably be it for adding stuff to this car
