I'm looking at getting my windows tinted. Anybody have advice as to where to go? What darkness to get? etc. My 02 ex is red.

Take it to a shop and get it done. Don't buy over the counter tint from somewhere like Wal-Mart or Autozone. It's poor quality and won't last.

my friends 03 red coupe, same body style as yours with 25% tint, and tint strip across the front window, cost lik $215 i beleive

i dont know lik 4 inches give or take a lil bit, i dotn know, youve had to seen a car with the front windshield strip, its only lik $15 more for the strip, just ask the shop before you get it done how far it goes down, it looks nice, im thinkin about jus gettin that done since when i boguth my car it already had tints, jus not the front

If you live in St. Louis, tint is crazy expensive. The cheapest place you can find is like $230 for windows and the strip.

That site is bogus. It says in California you can have 70% tint on the front sides, but in reality the windshield and front driver's side and passenger's side windows cannot receive any aftermarket tinting.

Well I just found a reference saying I can't tint the front sides. What a joke. Call me crazy but wouldn't it look a little silly to tint everything but the front sides?

go out look at your windsheild from the out side and you'll see a bunch of dots they will tint down untill they see 2 dots side by side about 6"

move out of cali then. lol. mines 20 and no cops has ever pulled me over for it yet. and it cost 155 cash cause it was illegal. came with 4 in strip on winshield.

yes 20 percent means only 20 percent of light gets through, and 5 percent is hard to see at night. i have 20 and im fine. and illinoise sucks then.
